We cannot wait to celebrate with our friends and family!
RSVP Coming SoonDuke brought us together, and New York City is where we built a life. Five years in, this past February, Ian got down on one knee in Central Park—and Liz said yes.
Now, we're bringing everyone west to California, where we're both from, to celebrate the next chapter surrounded by the people who have shared in our story from the very beginning.

We'd love the pleasure of your company throughout the weekend, and warmly invite you to join us for all three celebrations.
Most hotels require a three-night minimum over Labor Day weekend and book up fast โ reserve at your earliest convenience.
We will not be holding a room block.
Our home base for the weekend, where our wedding party and some of our family will be staying. We'll also gather here for Friday's Welcome Party.
An oceanfront five-star resort in Montecito, just a short drive from each of our weekend events โ a beautiful option for a luxurious weekend stay.
A relaxed, well-located boutique hotel right on East Beach โ an easy walk from downtown and a short drive to every event, at a friendlier price point.

East Beach is just below Bellosguardo. For a quieter stretch of sand with a classic Montecito view, head to Butterfly Beach near the Biltmore.
Rent bikes and ride the path along Cabrillo Boulevard โ flat, scenic, and an easy way to take in the coastline at your own pace.
Loquita, The Lark, Third Window Brewing, Azul, Boathouse at Hendry's Beach, and Bettina are all worth a reservation.
Dart Coffee Co. and Jeannine's Bakery & Restaurant are both excellent for a coffee or pastry to start the day.
Walk around and shop along State Street, then continue out onto Stearns Wharf for a stroll over the water.
About 45 minutes from town, with tasting rooms, olive oil mills, and small-town charm โ an easy afternoon trip.
A beautiful 18th-century mission with gardens and a rose garden across the street โ lovely for a quiet morning walk.
Fresh produce, flowers, and local vendors along lower State Street every Saturday morning โ a lovely way to start the day.
Rent a kayak or paddleboard at the Santa Barbara Harbor for calm-water views of the coastline and, if you're lucky, sea lions.
We do not have a registry. So many of you are traveling to Santa Barbara to celebrate with us, and having you there for the weekend is truly more than we could ask for. Your presence, love, and support mean the world to us.
If you'd still like to mark the occasion with a gift, a contribution toward our honeymoon would mean the most to us — though any gift is welcome too. But please know that your being there is more than enough.
With love,
Liz & Ian
Yes โ you're invited to all three events, but there's absolutely no pressure to attend them all. We know Friday's Welcome Party may mean taking a day off work, so come for whichever days work best for you. We'll be thrilled to celebrate with you either way.
No, if you are unable or wish to only join us on Saturday and Sunday, that is not a problem, just be sure to RSVP accordingly.
Your hotel or stay selection is entirely up to you! The Welcome Party will be at El Encanto, so it is very convenient to stay onsite.
The Wedding & Reception — Black Tie
Gentlemen in black tuxedos (dark suits acceptable); ladies in formal gowns.
The Rehearsal Dinner — California Elegant
Formal attire for gentlemen, jackets optional; ladies in cocktail dresses.
Friday's Welcome Party — California Cocktail
Formal attire for gentlemen, jackets optional; ladies in sundresses.
Typically sunny and warm โ highs around 75–80°F during the day, dropping into the low 60s once the sun sets. Coastal breeze in the evening, so we'd suggest a light layer or wrap for after dark, especially for Sunday's dinner and dancing.
The ceremony, dinner, and dancing will all take place outdoors, so dress accordingly. Friday's welcome party and Saturday's rehearsal dinner will be outdoors as well. September days in Santa Barbara are typically warm and sunny, with cooler temperatures as the evening unfolds โ we recommend bringing a light layer to keep you comfortable throughout the night.
Some of you have asked about gifts. Please know that what means the most to us is having your love and support as we celebrate together, so please don't feel any obligation to give a gift. We are not registered anywhere, but if you'd still like to, a contribution toward our honeymoon would mean the most to us — though any gift is welcome too.
Thank you again for being part of this special time with us.
Our RSVP form is coming soon — we'll share the link once it's ready. In the meantime, if you already know you won't be able to attend, feel free to let Liz &/or Ian know directly.
